Morelli has long been recognized as a leading proponent of equal rights, particularly in the employment discrimination and education fields.  A graduate of Hamilton College and New York Law School, Steven began his legal career as a Law Clerk to a Supreme Court Judge in New York City, where he authored numerous precedential decisions and law review articles.  As a litigator over the past thirty years, he has represented countless clients before both State and Federal Courts, as well as in various mediation processes.  Steven has resolved well over a thousand cases using alternative dispute resolution programs with many companies all over the United States.  He has been recognized in the National Law Journal and the New York Law Journal for some of his leading jury verdicts, including an award of $1,500,000 to a single plaintiff in a racial discrimination case.  Steven has been called upon as an expert in discrimination cases and plaintiff’s litigation on various television and radio shows heard around the Country, and he has been called upon by numerous other attorneys for his advise with respect to handling discrimination cases.

Steven, and his wife, are raising six children, two sets of twins, in Nassau County, New York, thus his legendary patience and understanding.  For those of you who have already worked with him, you know he prides himself on treating his clients as a member of his own family, and insists that this practice is carried through by all those employed at the firm.  For those of you who will work with him in the future, you will find that you will have a friend for life.
